01.ACTIVATE

This is the onboarding phase of the Ignite Plus program. Your dedicated BDM will support you in writing a joint business plan that will be regularly reviewed throughout each financial year. Based on your focus outlined in this business plan, you will be aligned one of our upper management team who will act as your Westcoast Executive Sponsor and will be on hand whenever you need them.

Once you are signed up the program, your BDM will organise your official intro / meet and greet, which can be tailored to meet your needs. As part of the launch day, you will be introduced to our opportunity management portal and set up with your own Power BI dashboard.

Introduction and access to the entire Westcoast Technology Solutions team, which includes:

Your Technology Solutions team will be your main point of contact throughout. They will ensure that you are connected to the right people within Westcoast. The Technology Solutions Experts, our team of specialist architects, designed to offer solution advice to you and your customers on the entire HPE portfolio. Our experts include the channels first dedicated GreenLake team and access to priority pre-sales architects.

Bid management team, a brand-new function within the business, which is around opportunity management, so we’ll take an end customer’s requirement, and we will go and deal-register it. We’ll make sure they’re getting the best commercial terms; we will work with you to ensure that we’re recommending the right solutions and challenging whatever has been put forward.

For example, if they’ve already got an idea they want some blades, well why is that? Is it because they’ve purchased them before or is it really the right solution for the customer and the infrastructure they need? We want to be in conversations earlier so we can help you with their decisions and assist you in providing more value into your end customer.

Westcoast will work with you to complete a full gap analysis to identify any areas where additional training will be required. We will examine what level of knowledge your salespeople have and then deliver bespoke training based on their needs.

To fulfil this, you will be given full access to the Ignite Plus training academy, where our specialist trainers can deliver HPE portfolio updates, 101/102 overview training sessions or more in-depth technical training, it’s completely up to you.

Through the Ignite Plus program, you will also be given exclusive access to HPE’s Global CIC, a virtual demo lab covering the entire HPE portfolio. In partnership with Westcoast, you and your customers can also utilize HPE’s Customer Experience Centre in London.

We will also help you navigate the sometimes-complicated world within HPE. Advising who are the best people to speak to within a specific BU, vertical or sector and who we are escalating to on your behalf should the situation require it.

Are you on course to maintain or grow your partner status this year? Your dedicated BDM will keep track of all the requirements, highlighting any potential concerns and help you resolve them before they become real issues.

This will be one of the points discussed with your BDM in your regular review meetings, which can be held as often as you see fit. You will also be invited to bi-annual round table events with other Ignite Plus partners, where we will communicate any upcoming changes to the program and gain valuable feedback from you.

Through analysis of your Power BI reporting, we can identify who in your company is closing deals & conversely at what stage deals are potentially breaking down. This will give an indication of who is utilizing the tools available or if any additional training is required.

This phase is not all about training, it is also designed to arm you with the right weapons to ensure that your business is expanding and becoming future proof. With flexible commercial support, we will introduce you to targeted rebate schemes and innovative finance solutions, powered by HPE PointNext.

Additionally, with HPE GreenLake, it is no longer what you are selling that’s changing, but also the way you sell it. Our dedicated GreenLake support team, unique to the channel, will guide you every step of the way, from identification of a potential GreenLake opportunity, right through to signing the contract.

Identify, expand and create opportunities. Bespoke marketing support is available to you to help drive awareness and expand your pipeline. You will be given access to our exclusive Ignite Plus Partner portal, containing sales, training & enablement materials.

As well as marketing collateral that can be rebranded and sent to your customers directly from the portal. Our marketing team will work with you to plan and fund marketing campaigns that suit your needs, from internal incentives to lead generation.

Similar to the sales effectiveness assessment, we will work with you to complete a full product analysis of your business. The objective of this assessment will be to identify any product areas that you are not currently selling and the potential missed opportunities that come with it. If any areas are identified, you will be reverted back to the Enable phase of the program for that specific focus.
